Longest Self-Supported Cycling Journey by an Indian Woman in Europe

Record Holder: Mrs. Vandana Bhavsar

Mrs. Vandana Bhavsar, aged 58 from India, has earned official recognition from the Credence Book of World Records for her extraordinary achievement in completing a 600 km self-supported cycling expedition across Europe. From Amsterdam to Paris, covering the Netherlands, Belgium, and France between 20th and 28th June 2025, Vandana ji demonstrated exceptional endurance, determination, and resilience.

Her mission, “See the World Differently,” highlights the importance of zero-carbon travel, sustainability, and women’s empowerment. By undertaking this challenging journey without external support, she has set a powerful example of how courage, discipline, and vision can inspire individuals worldwide. Vandana ji’s record is not just about distance—it is a symbol of sustainable travel and the global strength of Indian women.

On the proud occasion of 79th Independence Day (15th August 2025), Vandana ji was officially honored with her World Record Certificate. The recognition ceremony became even more meaningful as she received the certificate from Mrs. Smita Dhakne of Khandeshwar Police Station, Panvel. The Credence team extends heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Smita Dhakne for this graceful handover.

We also warmly acknowledge the presence and encouragement of other respected police officials at the ceremony, whose support added dignity and honor to the event.
